Welcome!

So very nice of you to stop by! What a fun and challenging hobby to have!

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Speedy the Cat's Challenge #27

Christmas card creations! Oh this one was easy...I have been working and working on these Christmas cards....and just when I think I'm finished...I find another stamp that would be MORE perfect!!!! There are so many Christmas stamps out there! WHAT fun!!!

This first one was using the Popcorn Bear stamps....I purchased several of them and find them to be just adorable! I just couldn't decide on ONLY one! They color up very nicely with Copics, add a little Sakura glitter pens, stickles and you are good to go! Use some decorative paper background, a few embellishments, use nestabilities to cut them out. Used GKD luxury white cs to color on...it is one of the best for copics!

I also had a great time making a bunch of simple ones using GKD Blessed is the Season stamps. Again used some decorative papers, made a faux window to look through at the stamps in the snow, added a bow and some embellishments inside.Used Martha Stewart lace edge stamp. Even stamped ALL of the envelopes. DRS has some great envelope stamps! LOVE using those!

This is the entire collection of that particular one! THESE went very quickly to make!

Witch's Brew

This is a Halloween card created for 2 challenges. One is For Fun Challenge which was to create a Halloween card with NO orange! The other Challenge is for Cute Card Thursday which is to use a transparent part. Here is the card I made.

I used GKD green grass cs, some dp from my Halloween stash, Penny Black stamps, Papertrey jar stamps and diecut. I stamped the inside of the jar on the acetate paper and then layered it behind the front of the card which I had cut out with the diecut of the jar. I covered the back of the front of the card with green and also cut some of the acetate so that it would slip back up to the top of the jar.  I used Stazon black ink on the acetate and it didn't smear!! Then colored with Copic markers and a gold pen. I used Labels 8 Spellbinders die to cut out the jar label and added some ribbon, embellishments, and flower. Corner punch is a cloud punch. I used the Penny Black stamp on the inside. Don't know if you can see the acetate very well...but it is there!

It was a fun challenge...but very putzy!!! Don't think I'd make too many of these!! BUT Happy Halloween!!!

Caardvarks Challenge

The latest challenge on Caardvarks was to create an Inside..Oustide card.

I used Outlines stamp and actually stamped on white cardstock (GK) and then cut out with nestabilities and placed it on the inside of the card. Then on the outside (front) I used a matching larger nestabilities frame and cut it out so that it fits on top...thus you see the inside on the outside! Added some Halloween dp, some ribbon, embellishments, colored with copics...and here it is!

Challenges for Stamp TV

Today I worked on the 2 challenges for the week for Stamp TV.

This first one is for Janice's color challenge to use muted colors.
This was a fun one to do. I used GK ocean mist cs and then muted it with navy cs, added in some BoBunnydp, Nina's Lovely Labels, nestabilities labels 16, outlined with Sakura glitter and glaze pens, added some ribbon, flowers, embellishments, corner punch.

This was the inside. I used an Inkadinkado stamp here with navy ink.

This one is for Vicki's sketch challenge. This time I again used Nina's Lovely Labels 1&2 and nestabilities labels 16. Also used nestabilities classic scalloped rectangles die cuts. Added in the Colorbok dp, Papertrey cs, Vivid garnet ink, ribbon, corner stamps and here it is.

Here are some Funny Farm notecards!

This is showing both the inside and outside of the cards and I also lined the envelopes. Putting them in a plastic box and including postage stamps will make it the perfect gift!

These were made with Gina Kay Design stamps and will be PERFECT Christmas gifts!

Here are some Halloween cards!

This one is an inside-outside card! I cut a frame in the front with a Spellbinders and the stamping part is actually on the inside of the card!

Halloween has never been one of my favorite holidays...but I do love making the cards!!! Here are some creations! Showing the outside and inside of the cards!

Happy Anniversary

This was a card I created for a 40th anniversary. Used rubby red inside! This was entered in Speedy's Cat die cut challenge at Mark's Finest Papers.
