Welcome!

So very nice of you to stop by! What a fun and challenging hobby to have!

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Coaster Gifts

These are the coasters I made from tumbled tiles. I first used Staz On black and did the words from GKD Enjoy the Sunshine, then sanded the blocks and then stamped with GKD Year of Borders Butterflies....let it dry...colored with copics trying to stay clear of the edges for streaking...used sponge daubers of Staz On ink .. let it dry...then did spray a fixative on it....let it dry...put 4 little felt "feet" on the back. I made 6 of them...2 of each design...butterflies going across or diagonal.

This is a wooden coaster from Kaiser Craft. I used the same stamps and Staz On inks and copics..then used sponge daubers for the background. On this one I put a satin varnish..let it dry throughly and then cut out a piece of felt for the back. It did work!

This is the last set of coasters. I did the same thing with the Staz On ink and used the GKD Pretty As a Peacock stamp for the words and GKD Blessed is the Season for the trees.

I really think I like the tumbled tiles better and those will be the 2 Christmas gifts!

Candy Stick boxes and Gift cards

Wonders of wonders!!!!! THEY are done!!! All of the gift cards are made....all of the Candy Stick boxes are done...bagged up and ready to be given away!!! What a good project ---wasn't too complicated...went pretty fast...and I'm so PLEASED with the outcome!!! Here are some pics!!!!

Nieces and nephew boxes
I found these short popcorn boxes at Target..2 for $1.00...they work perfectly by adding some tissue paper in the middle! Then the candy sticks fit and stay straight up. I just punched out circles and added some stickers to the toppers. The gift cards are the package sitting in the back.

The adults each got 4 sticks of candy!!! These are the gift cards I made using the Outlines Stamp. I colored with Sakura glaze, glitter and copic markers. Inside I used star spellbinders and a Christmas saying.
Adults boxes.

These are for the 2 youngest niece and nephew...no gift cards. The ornament is also from Target...$1.00 -- filled with candy!

Some adult gift cards.

Here they are all packed up and ready for gifts....some I did in these boxes.....and some are in gift bags. BUT they should all arrive to their destinations safely and NOT loose anything from inside.
