So very nice of you to stop by! What a fun and challenging hobby to have!

May you always have work for your hands to do.

Black Magic Fall

This was for a challenge at Stamp TV (STVMONDB4)..Mix It Up Monday Here is the website....to use Black magic....on a piece of black cardstock stamp with white ink...let it dry...then color pencil the image. Now I have to admit...I had my doubts about this one...BUT it did work and in real life really has quite a nice look to it. Unfortunately I don't think my camera work was the best!!!

Anyway....I used GKD black cardstock, with Moxxie dp. The stamps from GKD Celebrate the Season -- I used several different ones to create a scene..the tree branches, the owl, the bats, the fence, the pumpkin and the sentiment. The inside was stamped from GKD Heartfelt and used the pumpkins and the sentiment.

They were all stamped with White ink by Hero Arts then colored with colored pencils and I did add a little Sakura glitter pens in spots to add some shimmer. The pumpkin was cut with petite scalloped circles by Spellbinders and the inside pumpkins were cut by hand.  I also used the Pumpkin spellbinders to die cut the inside greeting. Added a bow and an acorn bling.

Happy Autumn Layers of Color

This is for the Outlines Monday Challenge 18 - LOTS of Layers!  (Here is their website)

It is also for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #32 (RRR32) Autumn and using ribbon. I think it is Autumn because of the yellow, orange, brown colors and dp paper I chose for the flower and the inside is definitely Autumn. (Here is their website)

I had fun making this card. AND LOTS of layers!!! I used H-468 Spotted Blossom Outlines Stamp and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and created 10 layers of the flower. Then carefully cut out each layer and pop dotted them together to give the 3-D look. I used GKD Chocolate Brown cs, PaperTrey Autumn Abundance dp and Recollections Foil dp. There was also a layer put on the base of the card and the corners were punched with a flower corner punch. I used the Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif die cut to cut out the foil for the base of the flower. I also used some Sakura glitter pens to do some accents on the flower parts on some of the layers.

The inside used C1051 Outlines Script Thinking of You and B-1111 Happy Autumn and cut out with Blossoms Spellbinders. Of course had to add some bling and the lovely Fall copper colored ribbon on the front!

Happy Autumn!

This is for the House Mouse CHALLENGE # 104  BIRTHDAY theme with a Bunch of Flowers.

I tried something different. While on vacation this summer in Northern Wisconsin I found at one stamp store the House Mouse 3D cut outs. I thought I'd try it....though after cutting and cutting I decided I really like stamping MUCH better!!! Lots of little corners and pieces to cut! I did add some pop up dots to 3D the look and added some White Polar Flower Soft for the marshmallows and added some Sakura glitter pens to accent some other parts. I added a Happy Birthday bow and some flowers. I used stash birthday dp and blue GKD cs. The inside sentiments were cut outs from a stash pile.

Hello Good Friends

This is for Speedy the Cat's Challenge #73 - One Layer Card.   (here is the website)

It was indeed a challenge for me to do a One Layer Card as I don't usually do that! BUT....got it to work!! :-)) I used a Sizzix embossing folder, Elegant Vine and Flair and sponged the folder with Rich Cocoa Memento ink before I ran it through the Cuttlebug. Added a little bow with brown/white cord, some bling and a couple of stickers.

This was white cardstock

Flowers from Ireland

This is for the Outlines Monday Challenge 16 -- Picture This. The challenge was to use Outline Stamps while incorporating a picture into the design. (here is their website)

This is my interpretation of that challenge. I used Outlines Stamps  C-1051 Thinking of You, H-1192 Fanciful butterfly, E-557 Petal Strip border and then on the inside F-1049 Posy Greeting Center and E-680 Flower Power Square Large. The images were colored with Copics and Sakura Glitter Pens. The picture is a picture taken in Ireland last Spring. Their flowers were VERY bright and deep colored and absolutely beautiful in the flower boxes by this particular park and also some of the vendors that were selling them. They almost looked like they put them in a dark dye to get the vivid colors.

I used a frame card and then added some bling, pearls and flowers. The inside I added a sticker verse and left some room for writing.
