Welcome!

So very nice of you to stop by! What a fun and challenging hobby to have!

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

This is for the Chalk-Ah-Lot challenge to use chalk with glue. It is so truly amazing what this chalk will do!! * Here is the place to enter your challenge!

I used Passionate Pink cs by GKD and white cs by GKD. The white was embossed with a Paper Studio embossing folder, GEO Flowers. I then mixed chalk with glue and painted in each of the flowers, wiped off the excess and when all the flowers were done covered the whole thing with stardust chalk and glue mixed and then wiped off. Doesn't show real well in the picture but it does give a shiny background look.

The umbrella which is a Stamp N Plus Scrap N stamp was painted with chalk and glue mixed, accented with Sakura glitter pens and then cut out and popped on the frton. The sentiment (also from Stamp N Plus Scrap N0 is stamped in Blue Danube Memento ink and cut out with Ribbon Tags Trio by Spellbinders.

The corners of the white is punched with flowers, added some flower rads, ribbon and buttons and a bow and April Showers Bring May Flowers!!

Looking forward to your creation of chalk with glue and this week the prize is a set of 4 chalks! So get creative and show us what you can do!

  7. Hi Barbara, I live in Oregon and I definitely relate Spring with RAIN, so I am loving your umbrella! The embossing folder is beautiful and I love the corner rounder accent punch, as well as the addition of the flower brads sprinkled throughout the card. So many fun things on your card! Thanks for joining in the Spring challenge at The Paper Players!
