I needed to make 2 more masculine cards today...and fisherman won out! I used these also for the Stamp TV's Free For All Friday challenge. I used cs from Mark's Finest and GKD, TPC Studio dp, Reel Me In, used Labels 20 to cut out the stamped image from GKD, Follow Your Dreams and Craft Lounge, Bear-ly Fishin', Judith stamp of the fisherman hat, colored with copics. Also used PaperTrey Birthday Basics and stamped with black, dandelion and summer sky Memento ink. The fisherman image was from a new spot I found, Craftuprint which has patterns to download and cut out and print. It has some nifty images!
This Fisherman was a Craftuprint image as were the 2 sentiments.
The background paper was from Craftuprint.
Welcome!
So very nice of you to stop by! What a fun and challenging hobby to have!
May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Monday, May 30 Creations
Today I found some time to be creative. The first card I made was for the Stamp TV One Love, One Layer challenge. However, after carefully reading the description, it didn't meet the criteria SO made another one. This one I do believe meets the description -- making a One layer card with the following restrictions: use ONE image stamp, One sentiment stamp (but you can stamp them more than once), and only ONE embellishment (but you can use it more than once). Glitter pens count as accents not embellishments.
This one doesn't meet the criteria...but I do have a thank you card! :-)
I did this one totally with embossing...no stamping at all...one layer with wild dandelion cs from gkd, embossing folder thank you by Sizzix, colored with copicsV25, YG23, YR16 which matched the ribbon. Added some flowers and brads. Again the inside was embossed only.
I embossed the pink cs by gkd with Sizzix Say it with a Flair, colored with copics. I then used the gkd, Cute As A Bug stamp and sentiment and added a brad sun. I believe I met the restrictions on this one!! Quite a challenge for me to ONLY do one layer!!
Then I did the Stamp TV Free For All Friday challenge for Stamp TV which was to create a masculine birthday card. I found this wonderful fishing dp paper and put it on kraft paper by gkd and then used Judith Stamps to create a Tree for All Seasons of fish, bobber, hat and added in a happy birthday and some grass and used the fishing stamps from Craft Lodge Bearly Fishin' for fishin' hole and sentinment. Colored with copics and added a worm brad. The inside can of worms is from Judith also. PERFECT for the fishermen in the family!

Happy Birthday Wobbler
This is the birthday card I made for my 3 year old great-niece. It is a pattern from Kanban---Wobbler series. You get the pattern and then put it together with a blank heavy cardstock piece to make it sturdier (adding some fold pieces, glue dots and adhesives) and do some folding so it will wobble back and forth! I also used the Kanban stamps that match the Wobbler patterns to make the tag card. It is the dog Max. I used It's Your Day dp as well as Kanban dp and GKD ivory cardstock. I stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and cut it out with the Labels 9 diecut...then sponged with Dandelion and Desert Sand ink. Colored with copics and sakura glitter pens. Added some pattern pieces of stars and also decorated the envelope with some stickers and stamp. I think she will enjoy getting it and hopefully it will Wobble for her!!

Birthday Blessings
This is a card made for 2 challenges....and ALSO for a 93 year old's birthday in June!
It is for Joan's Garden card and also matching tag card -- anything goes and the card and tag are to match. Also for Stamp TV's Mix It Up Monday Challenge which was to use flowers as the focal point.
I enjoyed making this set...I used some new dp paper I found by Daisy Bucket Love Blossoms , on GKD turquoise cs. Used Grand Labels 4 to cut out the stamp design on GKD white cs. The stamp was Outlines Spring Bonnet colored with copics and sakura glitter pens. I also used GKD Stenciled Spring for saying on the front. I used Vivid Raspberry, Memento Summer Sky inks. Added some pearls, ribbon and embellishments. The inside stamp was Hero Arts. For the tag I stamped with Outlines Summer Breeze in Bahama Blue Memento and used Papertrey Birthday Basics sayings in black Memento. Think it should do the trick as she LOVES flowers!

Joan's Garden challenge #17
This was an interesting challenge from Joan's Garden this week. It had to meet these 4 criteria --
- Colors blue/green
- Use a lady
- Include a large embellishment
- Attach a bow
I had no trouble with the blue/green paper and used GKD lime green cs, DCWV dp. I had no lady alone stamps so used a Print Shop Graphics as the stamp. I used the Spellbinders eyelet and lacy squares die cuts.
I used Cornish Heritage Farm Stamp for the birthday greetings in Vivid aqua ink. I cut the greeting out with Spellbinders Fancy Tag 3 and double ended tag 1. Added some ribbon, the flower, embellishments of pearls and bling. It was a challenge to do this one! But I do think I met the criteria!
Happy Birthday!

Seed Packets
These 4 cards were made for Speedy Cat's Challenge #54 -- USE NO embellishments! and for Stamp TV's Mix It Up Monday -- use 2 designer papers. I used Mark's Finest Stamps, Nature Foilage and stamped with memento ink, Black, Cantaloupe, New Sprout, Dandelion, Rhubarb. I used the Spellbinders Fancy rectangle frame and Classic scalloped rectangles and scalloped tags. The dp is SEI Moonrise and really has lovely colors to it. I used GKD and Mark's Finest cs -- off white, orange. Colored with copics and Sakura glitter pens. BUT did NOT add any embellishments -- not sure if I'll be able to leave them without any cuz they look not finished to me! NOT my usual style...Guess I like BLING! :-)) I also used Sharon Harnist's What's the Dirt Seed Packets pattern...isn't it the greatest? Thanks Sharon!

This is for Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #53 using a hat pin. A get well card for a friend seemed like a good plan...and this seemed to be a good spot to use that hat pin. I used Great Impressions stamps and gold and black embossing. Put it all on GKD black cs, dp was Stema Assian butterflies. Added some ribbon, flowers with brads, the embellishments and of course the 2 hat pins.
